LOEWE

LOEWE

Spanish craftsmanship throughout three centuries.

It was in 1892 when the German Enrique Loewe, a lover of the way Spanish artisans worked with leather, decided to move to Madrid to begin his training in a Madrid leather goods workshop.

The Origins of Loewe
After a year of its formation, Enrique Loewe opened its first store in Madrid in 1893, and at the beginning of the next century in 1905, King Alfonso XIII granted the firm the title of Official Supplier of the Royal Household. It was then that the brand began its expansion throughout the 20th century.

Style Evolution
Throughout this stage, Loewe has evolved until it became the house we know today. During the 80s, the top models of the moment were in charge of putting the spotlight on the house whose designs were unsigned despite belonging to designers such as Armani and Karl Lagerfeld. It was after them that Narciso Rodriguez arrived at Loewe to unite tradition with Prêt-a-porter.

Quality and Sustainability
In addition to its legacy in design, Loewe is a brand recognized for the quality of its pieces, its passion for leather and Spanish craftsmanship; That is why their accessories are still made today with top quality leather, which makes them last from generation to generation.

Loewe among the Celebrities of history
From the catwalks, to wedding dresses or today's grand awards, Loewe has become a go-to brand for international celebrities over time and continues to this day.

In short, Loewe is a brand that has known how to reinvent itself and evolve over time, always preserving its artisanal essence and its link with Spanish tradition.
